Omnia's PPG (Patient Participation Group)

The Patient Participation Group is now up and running with eight members who meet quarterly to discuss ways that as a practice we can make the patient experience better.  The group now have a suggestion box in the reception area.  This can be used anonymously if you wish for suggestions (we cannot have medical advice requests).  The group produced a news letter which is available in reception.  We have also discussed the patient survey that is filled in annually, and what we can do about our not so good comments. If you would like to have your say please join the group by either picking up an application form at reception or by email.

Art in Health (more)

The Omnia Practice recently ran a project for budding artists in the community (from complete amateurs upwards). Find out more about their activities here and look out for updates about art in the surgery.

Poets' Corner

Feeling poetic? We now have a poets corner -iIf you have time to spare,iIf you have a need to express yourself, if you have a flare for poetry, drop into the surgery with your written poetry and we will display for all to share.

"There is a Garden in Her Face"

There is a Garden in her face,
Where Roses and white Lilies gronw;
A heav'nly paradise in that place,
Wherein all pleasant fruits do flow.
There Cherries Grow, which none may buy
Till Cherry ripe themselves do cry.

Those Cherries fairly do enclose
Of Orient Pearl a double row;
Which when her lovely laughter shows,
They look like Rosebuds filled with snow.
Yet them not Peer nor Prince can buy,
Till Cherry ripe themselves do cry.

Her Eyes like Angels watch them still;
Her Brows like bended bows do stand,
Threatening with piercing frowns to kill
All that attempt with eye or hand
Thoses sacred Cherries to come nigh,
Till Cherry ripe themselves do cry.
